It’s a quick read and the whole thing is worth it.

I hate celebrity shit so much but this is a very public incident that is setting a terrible example to the general public. If you hit a woman, you’ll be defended and your life will not change at all.

I don’t think someones entire life should be ruined if they are violent to someone, but I think they need way more than 3 years to grow, mature, and CHANGE THEMSELVES. Chris Brown continues to have rage problems to this day and the general public shouldn’t feel comfortable with him being a performer setting such a vile example. The public doesn’t care! Why!

Another disgustingly sad recent pop culture blip was Charlie Sheen. Everyone thought he was just SoOooO fUnnY!!1 lol! Winning! Nobody seemed to care that he was murderously violent to women on a constant basis, mentally ill (but that’s what makes him funny, right???) and falling apart. No one was disturbed by that at all because… funny!! He says funny things!! Tiger juice or whatever! LOL

SORRY TO RANT, guys, I just fucking hate the way society reveres dirtbags and I’m pretty sure it will never change blah blah blah :( whatever.

I think that someone’s personal life should not reflect upon their career.  Performing at the Grammy’s is a huge jump in his career and his personal life should not be used as reason why he shouldn’t perform.  Plus, if Chris Brown can’t perform then Rihanna can’t either. She also was an abusive bitch.  Anytime anyone lifts their hand up to hurt anyone, it is wrong.  If setting an example is the issue here, then Kobe Bryant shouldn’t play basketball anymore because he cheated on his wife.  Tiger Woods shouldn’t be allowed to play golf anymore either.  Furthermore, R. Kelly should just disappear off the face of the earth because he pissed on a minor and Bill Clinton should not be looked up to because he had sexual relations with multiple people.

Good points, but cheating on someone does not equal domestic violence.
